SmallRig L-Shaped Mount Plate for Nikon Z5II is designed to facilitate quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting while enhancing the camera’s grip. The L-plate is secured to the camera body using a 1/4"-20 screw and locating pins at the base, preventing deflection. Built-in silicone pads protect the camera from scratches.
The modular design allows the side plate to be detached and the base plate to be used independently, offering versatility for diverse shooting scenarios. Both the base and side plates are designed to avoid interference with camera ports and functions, such as the battery compartment, angled USB-C cables, and the 105° rotation of the flip screen.
The side plate extends by 21.5mm for convenient cable management in portrait orientation. It features multiple expansion interfaces, such as 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, QD sockets, and strap slots. The plate also features shoulder strap slots, allowing the camera to hang lens-down for safety.
The base and side plates feature Arca-Swiss quick release plates, compatible with Arca-Swiss tripods and gimbals, enabling quick switching between gimbals, tripods, and handheld setups. The base plate is equipped with a magnetic flat wrench for easy assembly and disassembly.
