Mattias Klum
Ambassador•Photographer, Artist, Filmmaker
Mattias Klum was born in Uppsala, Sweden in 1968. He was first introduced to photography at the age of 12 through his dad, when he borrowed his analogue camera. His photography style has gradually developed over the years – first starting as a nature and wildlife photographer, and later on moving into the world of filmmaking and art.
The first Nikon camera that I worked with was the FM2 and later on numerous F5s and F6s analogue cameras – I quickly saw the potential in these remarkable cameras and the wide variety of Nikon gear that I have used ever since. Nikon’s dedication to developing quality gear is second to none.
Today in my kit bag you’ll find both the Z 9 and Z 8, alongside an array of NIKKOR lenses which use depending on the project.
