Bird mode comes to the Z6III
Bird mode turns the Z6III into a veritable bird whisperer. From a distant hawk to a darting finch, you’ll be able to detect and track birds even if they’re in flight, small and moving quickly, or camouflaged against complex backgrounds. Stills or video, it’s going to drastically improve your success rate.
Auto Capture for remote shooting
Auto Capture brings you new possibilities for remote photography. Simply mount the Z6III camera, set your parameters, and walk away. You can set criteria for motion, subject detection, or distance—or use them together for maximum control. To preserve battery life, a scheduling function lets you set the start date, time, and duration of your remote shoot.
Nikon Authenticity Service
Your reputation. Your vision. Firmware 2.00 prepares the Z6III for Nikon’s C2PA-compliant photo authenticity service. After obtaining a certificate from Nikon, you’ll be able to implement this service in-camera. Designed and tested in collaboration with the Agence France-Presse (AFP), it won’t disrupt your workflow—but it will protect your work.
