What is a Visa© Prepaid Card
The Nikon Cashback Prepaid Card allows for a flexible, fast and convenient way to receive your payments. Your card is NOT a credit or debit card and does not have a bank account tied to it. It is a Prepaid card, so you can only spend up to the balance on your card, and only Nikon can load funds to it.
Please note this card does not have cash access but you will require a PIN for purchases and a Telephone PIN (TPIN) for Customer Services.
It is always a good idea to check your available balance before making purchases to ensure that you have the necessary funds to cover your costs.
How do I make a purchase with my Nikon Cashback card?
You can make purchases everywhere Visa© is accepted. Generally you will be required to use your primary PIN to do this.
If you are unsure of your available balance we strongly recommend calling into Customer Services on +44 (0) 203 027 1854 to confirm before shopping as merchants cannot do this for you. Alternatively you may log into your account on www.prepaid.citi.com/nikonuk for balance and transaction information. You will need your 16 digit card number, CVV code (three digit code found on the reverse of your card), and T-PIN.
Each time you use your card to make a purchase; the amount will be automatically deducted from your card balance.
Does my card have a line of credit?
No, you can only spend up to the available balance on your card.
Can I withdraw funds from an ATM?
No. Your programme does not allow cash access however you can make purchases everywhere Visa is accepted, at retailers or online.
What if I want to purchase an item that costs more than the balance on my Nikon Cashback card?
To make a purchase greater than the balance on your card, present your card to the cashier at the till and tell them your available card balance along with a second payment method such as cash or a different credit card to cover the cost difference.
It is important to note that not all merchants can handle these types of "split transactions" which may lead to your card being declined. Please ask the cashier ahead of time if they are able to perform "split transactions."
What are the fees for using my card?
There are no fees for making purchases at Visa merchants or using the card online.
What happens if my Nikon Cashback card is declined?
The merchant will inform you of the decline and you will be unable to move forward with your purchase. To help prevent this situation, please monitor your available balance by visiting the program website, www.prepaid.citi.com/nikonuk, or contact Citi Prepaid’s Customer Service team on +44 (0) 203 027 1854.

Is there a fee to check my balance?
There is no fee to check your balance, make general queries or question a transaction. Simply visit the program website, www.prepaid.citi.com/nikonuk, or contact Citi Prepaid’s Customer Service team on +44 (0) 203 027 1854.
Can I transfer funds to my Nikon Cashback card?
You will not be able to transfer or wire funds onto this card.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen please contact Citi Prepaid’s Customer Service team on +44 (0) 203 027 1854 to arrange for replacement.
What if I change my mind and want to return (cancel) a purchase?
Please remember to save your purchase receipts in case you have merchandise returns, and be prepared to present the card at the time of the return.
Store return policies may vary. You may receive a credit to your card, a cash refund or even a store credit, depending on the particular store.
If the merchant’s return policy allows a return to the card, the merchant will credit the amount of your purchase. It may take up to 8 working days to process the refund before the funds are available on your card.
How long can I use my Nikon Cashback card?
Your card is good through to the expiry date shown on the card.
Do I need to cancel my Nikon Cashback card when the balance has reached zero?
No, there is no need to call in if the balance on your card account is zero, as the card can no longer be used for purchases or cash withdrawals. When your card balance reaches zero, please cut the card in two and dispose of it.
Q. How will I receive my payment?
A. Once all the required documents are received, a Visa® Prepaid card will be sent to the person's name and address on the claim form. This is sent by post within 30 days of receiving the application. For more information about the Visa® Prepaid card please see the section above.
Q. How can I get a claim form?
A. An online claim form is available from this site by following the link to "Claiming my cashback" If you are unable to access the online process please call 01420 525 506 to order a claim form.
Q. What documents do I need to apply?
A. We require a photocopy of your receipt or invoice (if ordering online, an order confirmation is NOT sufficient), the date of purchase must be clearly visible in order for us to validate your claim. We also require a photocopy of your Nikon Europe Service Warranty for all of the items ONCE you have fully completed the details requested. This document can be found in the box your products came in; please see the image above to help you identify it. The Service Warranty slip will either have the name Nikon UK Ltd or Nikon Europe BV already filled in. The final item required is either the confirmation of your online claim form or a fully completed claim form (where web access is unavailable).
Q. What is the maximum number of products I can claim for.
A. You can claim for as many products as you want, but you are limited to one claim per product.
Q. Can I make separate claims if I purchase two products from the promotion at different times?
A. Yes. Please note you will receive a separate Visa© Prepaid Card for each claim
Q. What if I have a hand written receipt?
A. This is not a problem as long as you follow the application procedure and send in all the required documents.
Q. Can I purchase online or do I have to go to a store?
A. Online purchases are fine but please check with your retailer that the stock you are receiving is valid for this promotion. You can check for a list of authorised dealers by going to www.nikon.co.uk/wheretobuy
Q. Why is it necessary to purchase "stock distributed by Nikon UK"?
A. This promotion is funded and wholly supported by Nikon UK and we are not able to support cashback on products that has been purchased from "other" markets. These products are also not eligible for our free 2 year warranty.

Q. How should I send in my documents?
A. If sending by post we require a hard copy of your documents and the best method is to use a photocopier. We can also accept documents that have been scanned and then printed. You can also photograph and then print the documents. Alternately if you have a digital version (scanned or photograph) you can upload them to your claim when going through the claim process.
