TYPE: Seminar

Are you fed up with taking pedestrian pictures? Want to stretch your camera by improving your eye for a photograph? This stimulating and practical workshop is designed to get your imagination fired up. Based on location, it's ideal whether you're new to photography or more experienced and looking to capture more exciting and unusual images.
10:00am - 16:30pm £135

The course will be lead by expert, Will Cheung, whose 25 years' experience as a photographer and photo-magazine editor gives him an understanding on what makes a great image in a variety of locations. The day will start with a morning of theoretical tuition, with an introduction to the location where delegates will be shooting from in the afternoon.

After lunch, delegates will be taken for a practical session on location. Briefs based upon the mornings' training will be set to provide delegates a practical opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt so far.

By the end of the day, delegates will have gained an understanding of and improved their photographic vision through both theory and practical sessions, giving them more confidence when applying a creative eye to new photographic opportunities.

This workshop has been designed to improve delegates' eye for a picture. The course will illustrate some of the creative possibilities through both theory and practical project work that will focus upon image composition, location opportunities and which equipment to use to achieve high quality images.
