Turn your bright ideas into outstanding images and you could win a share of £50,000 worth of prizes by entering a competition launched in partnership with Nikon and the British Journal of Photography.

Whether you are digital or film-based; whether you prefer portraiture or landscape – fashion, fine art or hard news – the choice is yours. All you need to do is submit a portfolio on disk to the tutor in charge of portfolio submissions.

There’s not even an entry fee and you’ll be ahead of the game when it comes to having a presentable portfolio.

Before you can enter the Nikon Discovery Awards, you’ll first need to check the link to see whether your college is a Nikon Academy Member. If it is, find the name of the tutor co-ordinating entries and get in touch.
